Our client is a Fortune 500 company widely regarded as the leading global provider of telecommunication services to retail and institutional clients around the world.
There now exists an excellent opportunity to spearhead the organisation's legal function in Japan.
You would be the sole legal counsel for the region and would report directly into the Regional Counsel based in Hong Kong.
Work would involve managing the day-to-day legal issues of the Tokyo-based entity, reviewing and negotiating all commercial agreements and establishing and maintaining strong client relationships as well as other general counsel duties.
Fluent Japanese language skills, written and spoken, are essential.
