This multi billion, global tech company is looking to hire an Employment Counsel to be based in London.
You will be part of an international team and will be responsible to provide advice on a broad variety of employment law issues in the EMEA region. In particular you will advise the business on employment law related matters including strategic HR initiatives, employee relations, benefits, compensation, diversity and inclusion. Furthermore you will partner with Human Resources to address workforce representation related issues, including works councils and other representative bodies. You will liaise and work closely with the Senior Director as well as other members of the international legal team across the Company and serve as key legal advisor on EMEA employment law related matters. This role is not limited to a certain jurisdiction but you will be working on complex cross border employment questions in various jurisdictions.
You will need to possess a strong academic background with 4-8 PQE of employment law experience ideally gained across a top level international law firm and an international in-house legal department. You will ideally have dealt with employment law in an international context for a large organisation in the technology industry but this is not essential. You must be a UK qualified solicitor with UK law experience.
