Family Lawyer

Our client is a national recognised, award winning sector focussed firm and they are currently recruiting for a senior Family Lawyer to join their first class family team in Birmingham.

You will be joining a tier 1 Legal 500 team who carry out the full remit of privately funded family work (covering both children and finances). The role comes with a broad range of responsibilities to include; dealing with a varied caseload of children and finance matters as we as cohabitation agreements and pre/post nups, advocacy and court work, supervising junior lawyers, networking and business development.

Candidates should be comfortable working collaboratively, sharing ideas and knowledge and be able to demonstrate excellent team work skills. You will have an immediate impact, demonstrating drive, initiative and a desire to help juniors in the team to develop and thrive.

You will be a highly skilled, experienced and technically excellent family lawyer with a wealth of experience advising on privately funded matters. You will have a proven track record of developing excellent client relationships, be well networked and have a clear strategy for helping to bring new work into the team. You will also be able to demonstrate experience of supervising and mentoring junior colleagues.
