Our client, a global leader in the insurance space, is seeking a legal counsel, with minimum 5 years' experience to join their legal team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Your role will involve drafting, reviewing and negotiating insurance policy documents, contracts and agreements relevant to their business operations such as distribution, broker, agency, sponsor, referral, marketing, administration service and confidentiality agreements.
As part of this role you will also be required to assist in the selection, retainer and effective management of external counsel, as well as assisting in researching changes in the legal and regulatory landscape, which impact the business. You will also provide feedback and input on compliance issues to the Chief Risk Officer.
