Property Litigation Lawyer

Are you an experienced property litigation lawyer looking for a genuine opportunity for career progression at a regional heavy weight practice. Our client is an established Birmingham law firm that has expanded considerably over the last few years and is looking to further develop its highly respected property litigation team.

You will play a key part in the future development of the team by delivering results for its established clients as well as forging new client relationships. The team undertake a high quality property litigation work including all aspects of; commercial estates, development and investment property, retail and residential property management. The team regularly advise on property related professional negligence claims, fraud, contract claims, construction disputes, boundary disputes, contentious lease renewals and disputes as to ownership and trusts of land.

The role offered will cover a broad caseload covering; County Court, High Court and First Tier Tribunal (Lands Chamber) matters as well as arbitrations, adjudications and mediation. A substantial amount of the team's work comes from client recommendations and through the surveyors and counsel the team work with. The work undertaken by the team is often complex and high value and will involve acting against leading Magic Circle, Silver Circle, international and national firms.

You will be a technically excellent property litigation lawyer with substantial experience of working on a broad mix of property disputes. You will have the ability to work on a collaborative basis as well as effectively managing and prioritising your own busy caseload. You will also have a proven track record of developing and growing client relationships with new and existing clients. Given the structure of the firm, you will receive a better career progression track than the traditional PQE model, making this a fantastic opportunity for an experienced corporate lawyer looking to take the next step in their career.
