Real Estate Associate role at thriving international practice in Birmingham.

On a global scale the firm has one of the largest full service Real Estate legal practices in the world, acting for over 50% of the FTSE 100 businesses, Fortune 100 and 200 clients and 25 major international banks. As a result their deal and client coverage is second to none and the team regularly wins awards for service delivery and sector expertise.

One of the growth areas for the practice is in respect of the thriving global data centre market as there is an on-going migration of data from private services to cloud solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior real estate lawyer to join the data centre real estate team who are fully embedded in the sector with excellent knowledge of how the sector works and the legal issues that have to be taken into consideration but in the UK and across multiple jurisdictions.

The role will incorporate a varied workload working on a number of real estate transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload and getting involved in; contractual negotiations, service agreements, landlord and tenant work, client business development and marketing.

Due to the nature of the sector and its rapid growth and development, this is a complex area of law so the successful candidate should enjoy researching, have excellent analytical skills and enjoy an intellectual challenge. The candidate should also enjoy working cross office on large projects liaising with international clients and colleagues.
