Our client, a leading international law firm, is looking for a senior real estate lawyer to join their highly regarded real estate team as a principal associate/legal director in Birmingham.
Our client employs more than 1,400 legal professionals worldwide, and has a presence in Canada, the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and South America. They are home to some of the world's strongest legal teams, including the multi-disciplinary real estate team.
In this role you will be dealing with general commercial property work, including acquisitions, disposals, due diligence, certificates of title and landlord and tenant transactions.
The role will also involve supporting their corporate occupier team in land acquisition and disposal (freehold and leasehold) together with landlord & tenant transactions for a wide range of clients - including pharmaceutical companies and energy sector clients.
You will work as an important part of a small team that undertakes very high-quality work, supporting the partner and delegating to and supervising more junior associates.
This role will suit an experienced real estate lawyer with 5+ years post-qualification experience. The ideal candidate needs to be capable of leading transactions, maintaining and developing relationships with clients.
