A leading global law firm is currently seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join its offices based in Bristol
The role will provide support to the Partners and other fee-earners within the Real Estate Department and will involve:
- Managing busy caseload of transactions, for example dealing with licences to assign, licences for alterations, deeds of variation, deeds of easement and drafting letters to clients and other parties.
- Dealing with leases, identifying defects and preparing new modern form of leases, based on standard forms.
- Assisting with file opening procedures including preparing first draft of retainer letter and ensuring compliance with money laundering regulations.
The successful candidate must have a good working knowledge and understanding of paralegal work, obtained through work experience in a Real Estate or similar environment and hold a law degree or GDL. Candidates possessing the LPC would be preferred but this is not a pre-requisite for the role.
