The Risk Management team of a highly regarded Australian Fund Manager are currently expanding after a successful year, with the addition of a new Risk Manager. As part of a close-knit team, this Risk Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting a diverse array of core businesses with the implementation and management of risk processes, training and systems.
As Risk Manager, you would work with a team of compliance, risk and insurance experts to support the businesses commercial success. You would take a lead on a variety of activities, including:
- Continuous support and implementation of new risk management software and maintenance of content within the risk management system
- Coordinate the risk and controls registers and preparation of quarterly and ongoing group reporting for the board
- Management of internal audit program and subsequent actions
- Coordinate and develop risk management training programs.
To Be Considered
You will be a seasoned risk management professional with a solid grounding in funds management and its associated risk. Your background will demonstrate a breadth of expertise in risk that enables you to work autonomously, advise senior stakeholders and take ownership of projects.
