Tax Lawyer in Birmingham
Our client is a leading UK law firm with offices across the country working together as one collaborative national team.
This firm has an award winning specialist tax practice working for high profile clients on complex and high profile tax matters. The team advise on a range of tax related matters which fall under the following areas of law; corporate, venture capital, real estate and employee incentives.
The day to day role will include; supporting the firm's corporate lawyers in advising on the tax implications of corporate transactions, advising venture capitalist investors on qualifying investments including engaging with HMRC on behalf of clients, advising real estate clients on SDLT, LBTT, VAT, capital allowances and CIS and advising on the exercise and restructuring of employee incentivisation schemes.
Our client is looking for an Associate or Senior Associate (or equivalent) who is keen to join an ambitious and forward thinking tax team. At this level you will be expected to have gained solid exposure to at least one of the above areas of tax law at a City, International or national firm. In addition you will have excellent technical skills, strong academics and be able to demonstrate a clear passion for tax law.
